Next, take a small piece of green paper and write your name in the middle in green ink. Draw five dollar signs around your name in a circle around it. When you do magic, you always want to use odd numbers, hence the five dollar signs. Draw a large circle around your name, including dollar signs. This seals the money with you so you don’t “lose” it. Take the dollar bill and lay it flat with your signature facing up. Then take the green piece of paper and place it on top of the dollar bill. Finally take a green pen and place it on top of the paper. take all these items and fold them in half. Continue folding them until they are small enough to fit into a gray-gray green bag. An empty gris-gris bag can be purchased at a magic or occult store for very little money. Make sure it’s green to symbolize money. You can even make your own bag out of green fabric. Make sure the bag is sealed so nothing can get in or out of the bag and take it with you to attract money. It can be carried in the wallet or in the bag, or in the pocket. Once again, a very easy spell but also very effective.
The idea of symbolism is used regardless of the type of magic you are working on. Take, for example, a voodoo doll. Say you want to make one so that someone has loving feelings towards you. You can buy a blank doll or you can make your own. If you make one yourself, you can fill it with Spanish moss and a combination of some herbs that have to do with love and power. For example, damiana, mugwart, orris root, and lavender would make a good combination. When you add them to Spanish Moss, you get 5 fillers. Notice the “odd” number. Now you can do several things when making the doll to get the desired effect. Remember the symbolism. You may want to write her name on a small piece of paper and put it on the doll‘s head. If the hair is long enough, you can tie it around the doll‘s arms, legs, and body. This symbolizes that you have full control over this person. You can also wear a necklace. Do the same and wrap it around the wrist, or you can use a ring on a piece of ribbon. Just make sure that if you do wear jewelry, it should be something you actually wear that has personal significance to you. This is also the case if you wear a piece of your clothing.
