In a panic, they searched for a place to hide. They noticed that there was a small closet in the corner and they quickly got inside, along with the dolls. Soon, they heard the doorknob turn and a shadowy figure entered the room. The brothers could hear him rummaging through the treasure, muttering to himself about the missing dolls. They knew they had to act fast.
Chapter 3: Brotherly Love Saves the Day
As the shadowy figure approached the closet, the brothers held each other tight, ready to fight if necessary. But when the door was opened, they saw that he was an old man. He seemed relieved to find the dolls safe and sound. The old man explained that he was a doll collector and those dolls were his most prized possessions. He had been looking for them for years and had hidden them in this secret room to protect them from thieves. Guilty and relieved, Mark and Adam returned the dolls to the old man and offered to help him put them away in a safe place. Grateful, the old man accepted his help and gave them his own reward: a small bag full of precious gems. As they left the house, the brothers felt closer than ever, grateful for the adventure they had shared and the brotherly love that had saved the day. And as they looked up at the sky, they felt that anything was possible.
